Computer Room

The Malcolm X Centre has a spacious computer room that is used as a valuable community resource and is available for private hire.

The room is equipped with 18 PCs running MS Windows XP. All of the PCs are networked, have broadband internet access, and have the complete MS Office Suite of software installed. Laser printing is available for a small charge.

We run courses in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and provide drop-in sessions for people to come and use the facilities for themselves.

The Computer Room is upstairs in our building and we don't have a lift so it is not currently wheelchair accessible. We are planning to move the Computer Room downstairs over the next couple of months and make it wheelchair accessible. Check back here for news of our progress.

The charge for private hire of the computer room is £15 per hour, including internet access.
